Back to the florentine stitch and the effort to use up odds and ends of floss.
This time I am going for a tessellated multi-colour version and so far so good. It isn't easy to plan to be random is it? So while I think what colour next (limited of course by the pile of floss I am trying to use) I will continue to stitch the outline in DMC3799. All is well so far, I think.

Your colour combinations work well together.
Hi Margaret, Well glad to see this wonderful stitching which means you resisted the nibbles, beautiful work and all those socks too, well done.. so how am I doing? I don't have urges to nibble( or if I do it's rare) I just eat the wrong food at meal times. When we were away in Suffolk I ate a meal of blue cheese, olives and chunks of locally made crusty white bread, generously buttered. So that cancelled out the previous week's weight loss, and then a meal out Friday, it was our 10th wedding anniversary, didn't help either. But I am 2 pounds less, and I am back in the 'zone'.. so I am keeping on going. DH has just offered me a choc biscuit with my coffee and I resisted, so feeling very virtuous! Keep Happy Margaret xx
Pretty!! Am fascinated that your "use me up" pile has such nice color gradations - makes me wonder what it's left over from....
Looking great so far, Margaret! Will this
be finished as a pillow?
This looks beautiful. It is very hard to be truly random because our brains seek out patterns.
