Monday I go for a silicone splint on my right hand and to see what can be done about something wrong with my left jaw socket. Then I will be able to get to a dentist to have the broken tooth fixed/extracted. At the moment my mouth won't open wide enough!
I'm only able to eat very soft foods: yogurt, hummus, cottage, mashed potatoes and scrambled egg. This diet is achieving the weight loss the walking was designed for:-)

You poor thing Margaret!!! Hopefully the splint will help. Also that you will soon be able to enjoy a change of diet.
Yikes! Hope you make a speedy recovery and get back to stitching and walking again soon.
Eating soft foods all the time isn't good Margaret, I've had to do it more than once and it's not nice. I hope they sort out what the issue is with your jaw very soon so that you can get your tooth sorted as well. Hopefully your mum is doing well at the moment.
This looks much worse than I first thought. I hope doctors and dentists will be able to help you get well soon.
Can you have smoothies and soup? Then you can add vegetables to your otherwise very limited diet.
Wish I could export some nutrition-filled chicken/the whole gamut vegetable soup (pureed) to nourish you while healing. The brighter side that has emerged is your desired loss of weight. Hope all the issues with your
jaw can be resolved.
Oh no! Only just read your previous post, looks like you took a bad tumble.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. X
You poor dear! That all looks (and sounds) so painful. I hope they find and fix up the problem with your jaw quickly and that the splint helps with your hand. Sending very gentle hugs your way....
Oh my dear, what an awful, awful fall you took. Worse than I had originally thought. Hopefully they will get each of your issues straightened out. Ironic about the weight loss and I agree with Queenie about trying smoothies. You can pack a lot of nutrition in them. Good luck.
Gosh you did take a tumble, your eye doesn't look too good either, I doubt you can stitch at the moment, what with that and your strapped up hand. Get better soon.
Oh Margaret! Sorry to hear how bad your tumble was. Hope you aren't in so much pain. Get well very soon!
Oh my goodness I am so sorry! I also wanted to let you know that I seem to have trouble leaving comments on your blog. I tried several times on several posts without success and I felt so bad. I'm praying for your healing.
Please take good care of yourself, Margaret. Prayers for speedy, back to new healing from California.
Margaret, I am so sorry to hear of your accident. Sending healing thoughts and hugs, and best wishes for speedy healing. Lori
