Remember when..

Remember when there was a Biscornu Boom?   I saved this free chart then and finally 10 years later have stitched it.   Not without some reverse stitching I have to say but we made it to completion.
It's amazing what a trawl through the chat folders, a search through the fabric stash and a delve into the floss trove can do for stitching mojo.
I am rather pleased with this and while I have the floss out will probably make another for a gift.  I only hope I remember enough basic geometry to set the points in the correct position to make that basket work!

I bought lots of biscornu patterns at the time and didn't stitch a single one!!

That's so sweet. And your finish should be easy as you have a diamond on one side so you have something to line up with the corner of the other side!

I love biscornu's. Maybe you will bring back the trend!! I was actually thinking about making one recently!! Just may do that now.

Wait, the biscornu boom is over? I thought they never went out of style! This one is cute, it looks like quite a clever construction with the basket and I'm looking forward to seeing it assembled.

A very nice pattern, sometimes you will find in the old notebooks and folders also wonderful treasures.

I have never stitched a biscornu. I am not sure what I would do with one myself and don't think my finishing skills are good enough to inflict one on anyone else!
Looking forward to seeing how the basket comes together.
