Oh yes how lovely and addictive, I started off with one pair for really cold days, then thought 'if I make more pairs they won't wear out'.....stopped counting at 40 pairs. I have about 10 and the rest have been gifts, I now use beautiful hand dyed yarn sometimes, such fun to knit as the pools of colour appear. Margaret
I have just recently retired from work. I love to stitch - mainly traditional pieces of counted work always in Linen and generally with DMC or silks. My other love is reading and I visit the local library every week.

They look very cosy Margaret, enjoy wearing them. Hope it's not too chilly though:-)

How lovely! Glad your feet are cozy.
Thanks Ann. It has been a relatively mild winter really but the mornings are chilly when I walk to work. I'm glad of the socks then
Thank you. I have knitted a couple of pair as gifts but most are for my feet:-)
Thank you. My feet keep really warm in these and it almost makes me tempted to knit gloves;-)
They look wonderful!!
Thank you. They feel wonderful on a frosty morning too:-)
It's so funny because it's boiling hot here and there you are in woolly socks.
Extremely happy feet, they look fantastic!
If I could I'd send you some of our cool air Jo!
They feel fantastic on a chilly morning too:-)
