The left hand half is fir forest and so will be umpteen shades of green rather than the grey of the castle walls. Onward and upward and then back to complete Ireland.
I am getting hardanger fever again but cannot start anything new while I have three works in progress. Perhaps a look through my hardanger charts and a drool over them will cure me?

The castle is standing out nicely. I wonder why they associate Scotland with forests of fir trees - those days have long gone, although I think you still find them in areas north of us.
I am terribly envious of this -- it looks marvelous and makes me think I need to go home and pack for adventuring ----- pack lots of stitching that is. :)
Oh, that is looking so lovely. Great job.
Scotland is looking marvelous. It makes me want to go on the trip AND start a new over one cross stitch project!
I have to smile thinking about having only three projects in the works! You've only seen a taste of how many things I have in the works. I have no self control and am constantly putting down what I'm working on to start something new.
So enjoy seeing your work and hearing how you choose what to do next.
I love how you can't start anything new with THREE works in progress. What must you think of us non-one-at-a-timers? Sluts? ;) It is looking lovely. I especially love the thistle.
Your British? Cross stitch is coming along nicely. I'm sure Scotland and Ireland will be finished soon.
It's looking gorgeous, great progress
Only 3 WIPs? You can start another.;) I have at least 5 on the go now with thoughts of starting another! So much for being a one at a time stitcher.
Your book cover looks great. I love seeing this piece. It's so detailed.
