My other love is reading and I visit the local library nearly every week. My elderly mother lives with me. She is increasingly deaf and quite blind and in this blog is known affectionately as the DBEM.

Thanks. Mother seems pleased to have more of my company and as you can see we enjoyed a beautiful Spring Day today.
Your mum is looking good Margaret, I'm sure she will love having you home to spend more time with her. I've been thinking about you this week.

Love the fact you don't make jam but have home made biscuits.. your home made box for the flask looked good.. yes I am still losing weight albeit slowly. But having just had a weeks holiday came home 1/2 pound lighter. I don't usually do that!

The picnic basket has already proven useful and I'm pleased I had the idea
We've started a two week holiday and the DBEM is standing up to the travel well.
Well done you. I have lost one kilo since retiring but am on holiday now so am not sure if that rate will continue:-)
Lovely to see a photo of your Mum. She is looking good!
She is doing well and seeing the new great grandchildren has given her a boost!
