A red day today

Poor DBEM.   While I had the benefit of air conditioning in the office (apart from the interruption of a fire evacuation drill), the DBEM had only electric fans to circulate the warm air.   Our Australian cousins kindly sent their heat wave over the Tasman Sea to us and although it has cooled a lot it is still hotter than usual and oh so muggy.
So tonight the Temperature SAL got a red square.  (Excuse the odd perspective of this bad photograph). Hopefully there won't be too many of these!

Aww.... The Midwest in U.S. expecting as much as minus 50 degrees this week...may just shatter some previous records....

Your Temperature SAL looks great! Such extreme temperatures - you're stitching deep red and if I were doing this right now, the next few days would be ... dark blue? purple? whatever the coldest color is.

And I was happy we got some snow today!
I hope you don't have to stitch too much red in there.

We've had news of the big freeze on our TV. Wouldn't it be good if we could share and each have moderation!

I think the cold weather in the States would be off my colour chart. If Auckland ever got below 10 degrees celsius we'd all die of SHOCK😊😊

Back to orange today!

Eek! As pretty as the red is, I hope to not see too much of it during the year.

So far only the one red but consecutive orange since! I suppose that all too soon there will be too much green then blue so I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
