He only needs a moustache
A sunflower Santa?? Even in the Southern Hemisphere such a Santa is unknown and the chart for this came from the North where sunflowers would never be blooming at Christmas!
However he is rather cute and will possibly be even more so when his white mini tassel=moustache is added. But that is later on. Tonight I start on a stitched mistletoe.

I have never seen a Santa like this. He is even taller than the sunflower!
I do like him but can't bear to think of Christmas already - mind you today is the 1st of October.

My daughter loves sunflowers so I'd been thinking of stitching this guy for her. Santa is magical - he could have sunflowers whenever he wanted, right? He looks great!
Deb makes a good point! Maybe he gets tired of poinsettias and snow all the time?
Santa does need to travel everywhere so everyone can get their gifts - maybe he was visiting a flower fairy?
