I am taking a break. No posts for a week or so until I have some sparkle in my eye and some spring in my step again. Time for some life administration.
Hi Margaret. I've been reading your blog for years and enjoy all your stitching and the stories of your life with your mother, and work. I live in the US and am an avid stitcher. I don't have a blog and have never posted on your blog before. I just wanted to say that I miss your blog, and hope your break is giving you back your joy!
I have just recently retired from work. I love to stitch - mainly traditional pieces of counted work always in Linen and generally with DMC or silks. My other love is reading and I visit the local library nearly every week. My elderly mother lives with me. She is increasingly deaf and quite blind and in this blog is known affectionately as the DBEM.

Hope you are okay, good thoughts and wishes for some rest and relaxation for you.
Time to take care of yourself! Please do just that. We'll be here when you're ready. :)
Rest well, dear Margaret, come back when the bounce does x
Sometimes a break is necessary to recharge the mind and body. Enjoy your break.
