I did a comparison and it's roughly £45 per metre for Zweigart Belfast linen over here (online) and converting your NZD it equates to you paying £71 per metre.Ann at Beadlework.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02053072826180330534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6185580465519570702.post-58850620151968034352014-05-25T21:44:39.495+12:002014-05-25T21:44:39.495+12:00Your cottage is beautiful. I took ...Margaret, your cottage is looking lovely. I took this class (and many others) with CA Wells. Her finishing is wonderful. Mine is finished in my curio cabinet. Be careful you aren't being too frugal. You need at 1/2 inch margin on all your pieces, to wrap around your skirtex for construction. Also be careful when stitching CA pieces that you lay all the sides of the pieces in the same direction on the linen. You would be surprise how different the linen count can be warp and weft. With the cottage it should not be that big a deal, but I stitched the pyramid Etui and you had to have all 4 sides going in the same direction. One lady didn't and it was bad. Feel free to email me if you need help. I am sure I kept my instructions and notes. MartyGMartyGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18131484678247040996noreply@blogger.com
